When perceptions about the newspaper industry’s irrelevance and demise had negatively impacted the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Versant created the “Now You Know” advertising campaign featuring a mix of subscribers, advertisers, community leaders and Journal Sentinel employees telling the important role the newspaper has in the community and in their individual lives.
The campaign not only drove measurable results, including increased the new subscriptions, it also helped rally the employees and effectively changed the conversation about the Journal Sentinel in the community.
